Beloved CD Cover Design

Beloved is a contemporary pop/rock band, based in Cape Town, South Africa. It was my role to design a CD cover for the band that emotionally captures their sound . Here’s a brief insight into my CD cover design process.
To give you some background information, Beloved has:
- A Magical stage presence
- Beautiful rock melodies mixed with a modern orchestral sound
- They were aiming for an international market
- Most of their fans are trendy young professionals
Since this band is based in Cape Town, I had the pleasure of meeting with them face-to-face (something Ialways try to do if possible). I gathered as much information as I could from them pertaining to the requirments and expectations for the new CD Cover design and additional marketing material (posters, flyers & business cards). This helped to create a CD Cover design that captures their sound with great emphasis.
